The Grand Opening of Retreat Hill Winery & Vineyard, Part Two, will continue this Saturday, October 10, 2009, from 6:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m. We opened the doors on August 1st, 2009. However, between harvesting 12 tons of Austin County, Texas Zinfindel grapes on opening day, crush and winemaking, we thought we would wait to throw a party.
To celebrate our Grand Opening, our tasting room hours will be extended from 6:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m. The celebration will continue with a rockin' band called Sammy’s Short Bus and tasty Texas barbecue. For ten bucks, you get barbecue and music and of course, we'll have plenty of Retreat Hill wine for sale by the glass or by the bottle. Coincidentally, this is the last weekend of the October Texas Bluebonnet Wine Trail, so if you have a trail ticket, make Make Retreat Hill Winery & Vineyard our last stop and we’ll buy your dinner.
We are going to do this rain or shine! Last weekend, we did Part One and even though the weather was terrible, about 100 wine lovers came out and had a great time. The weather is supposed to be perfect on Saturday night, but just in case, we have two giant tents set up next to the winery. We'll also have the tractor ready in case your car gets stuck in the mud.

So come on out, enjoy the beautiful country setting, great music and food. Click HERE for directions or additional information. We appreciate your support!
